Andrew is a decisive leader with 37 years of experience at the local, state, national, and international level. Enlisting in 1980, he rose to the rank of General Officer - having served in the Executive office of the President and in command of an Expeditionary Mission Support Group in Iraq. He has devoted his life to defending and fighting for our families, and as a political outsider will do the same for us in Washington, DC.

Building New Mexico

As the Adjutant General, Andrew Salas fought hard to reduce the civilian unemployment rate of his Citizen Airmen and Soldiers from 20% to 4%, and improved troop strength from last in the nation to close to 100%. He fought for essential mission assignments for New Mexico units to provide essential security for the nation and vital skills and opportunities for New Mexico citizens.

Andrew is ready to provide the authentic leadership New Mexico is missing. As a father of five, Andrew knows it’s time to provide leadership that will shape New Mexico into a successful place to live, work and raise a family. Another career politician won’t get the job done but Andrew, the veteran, family man and New Mexico native, will.
